Don’t be surprised if you hear some of the locals speaking Turkish, in addition to the Ottoman (as well as Byzantine) architecture that dominates the landscape, there is still a distinctly Turkish influence to the culture here. On our city tour, you will visit Sinan Pasha Mosque, Church of Holy Virgin of Ljevisa, a traditional hammam, as well as take in the spectacular panoramic view of the city from its medieval fortress. Stroll with us along the 16th century stone bridge and soak in the incredible ambiance of this vibrant city, known for its popular film festival, DokuFest, which takes place each August.
